All tastings last approximately 90mins and the price includes all tasting accessories such as glasses and coffee.
Each guest also receives a free tasting mat, whisky cheat sheet, tasting notepad, and a commemorative whisky glass!

We can provide our participants with all the tools necessary to fully appreciate the whiskies we explore in our tastings. We like to encourage tasters to interact with lively discussions and inquisitive questioning. We use Prezi presentations with overhead projection (complemented by printed information and guides) to novelly guide our tasters through the whisky production process from barley to bottle, exploring the origins of the flavours we are experiencing during our tasting - visuals, nosing, tasting, the feeling (sometimes literally in the hands), but most importantly the enjoyment!

Our tastings are led by Dr. Alex Papple, our resident sociable PhD biochemist and long-time whisky enthusiast. Alex's interest encompasses the whole whisky making process and so he can particularly provide great insight into what makes single malt whisky such a diverse and beautifully crafted spirit.
Alex is comfortable delivering his accomplished presentations in front of small intimate tasting groups or full corporate evenings with dozens of participants.
We can accommodate your precise requirements and create bespoke tastings as Alex can adapt to your evening's intended dynamic with applomb.
Alex's favourite whiskies are mostly sherry cask, with a particular fondness for The Balvenie.
